Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation, which are all intimately connected. The Sacrament of Confirmation is the final step of Christian initiation, where the baptized person is ‘sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit’ and is strengthened in their faith to serve the Body of Christ.
Confirmation at St. Agnes Parish is a two-year program. In an effort to provide today's youth with an expeditious albeit sacramental experience, we have developed an opportunity that meets the independent spiritual needs while simultaneously providing the tradition of Catholic community in a platform that respects the significant time constraints of the modern teenage participant.
Our program is meant to ready teens for the day they receive the spirit as the Apostles did. Their families are part of that greater community that they are called to serve, so we will be working together to support our youth and help them grow into the disciples that Christ has commissioned us to become.
